Yesterday was our 9th hand out in Bitera, 9 weeks long of emergency aid! And unfortunately the end is not in sight yet.. At this moment it looks like that Bali will reopen its borders somewhere in October 2020.
Westerlaken foundation / Yayasan Bali Bersih is part of a new association founded for the sole reason of smoothing the process of providing aid on Bali. We hope that with our expertise we can help other organizations.
In total we have distributed 28.836 meals till now, but also 385 masks donated by the Mask society. Yesterday we have also handed out 21 waterfilters, in cooperation with Sosial Impakt. These waterfilters will help people that now are still drinking water from the river or wells.
